Together, Al and Veronica have serious experience across business coaching and management, leadership, human resources, risk management, security, and health and safety. It’s our expertise that will help you make your business or organization safer, more efficient, and as powerful as possible.

Al Belanger

Health and Safety Consultant

Al spent the first 25 years of his career working in safety and security at the University of Alberta, where he managed the daily operations of Campus Protective Services for 12 years. There he developed his excellent tactical and crisis communication skills, as well as his expertise in people management in high-stress environments.

After Al’s U of A career, Al made a strategic move to help businesses with their health and safety needs. He began working with small and medium sized businesses to create practical and realistic safety programs—ones that are streamlined and efficient to implement day in and day out.

Al has certificates in Security Management, Human Resource Management, and Occupational Health and Safety. He also holds a NSCO designation, and is designated as a Certified Health and Safety Consultant (CHSC.)

Veronica “V” Lynn Vinge

Business Coach and Consultant

Veronica has 25 years of experience working with nearly every kind of business—from large organizations to NGOs, from small businesses to high-profit private enterprise, from government initiatives to smaller, personal passion projects. Each and every one has taught Veronica something powerful that she carries with her to use for her next client partnership.

As a business coach, management consultant and human resources specialist, Veronica consults with businesses and organizations to improve their leadership, planning, processes, value, and of course, bottom line.

Veronica holds a BA in Recreation Management, and a number of certifications including professional business coach (Professional Business Coaches Alliance), change management (Prosci), ValueBuilderSystem, One Page Business Plan, and DiSC (personality and behavioural assessment).

  • ABVSquared’s clients come from the construction, trades, retail, IT, oilfield service, manufacturing, agriculture, wineries and non-profit sectors.
  • Worked with Aboriginal groups across the country as part of the Urban Aboriginal Strategy and Edmonton and Alberta based NGOs engaged in HIV/AIDS work.
